Rosa Battles, J.D.

Rosa Battles has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. While finishing her last year at UCLA, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Rosa started her career in criminal defense. Later, Rosa went on to graduate from Southwestern University School of Law and received her Juris Doctor.

For the past 10 years, her passion and focus has been in medical malpractice. After working several years at a personal injury and medical malpractice law firm, Rosa worked as a paralegal at the Carroll Kelly Trotter & Franzen LLP. The Carroll Kelly firm is widely known as one of the top medical malpractice defense firms in the state. That is where she met Michelle Hemesath.

Rosa was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in South Los Angeles, California. She currently calls Long Beach home with her husband and three children. When she is not busy managing her kids’ active schedules, she enjoys cooking, baking, and being a Disney+ nerd.
