Erica Hornbuckle

Attorney

Prior to joining the firm, Erica represented physicians, hospitals, and nurses in medical malpractice actions, providing her with valuable insight into how healthcare providers and insurance companies evaluate and defend claims. She now uses that experience to advocate for individuals and families harmed by medical negligence. A San Diego native, Erica earned her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where she was deeply involved in the law school community and held several leadership positions. During law school, she served as a Student Bar Association Representative, Secretary and Director of Public Relations for the Black Law Students Association, and Student Representative for the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council as well as the Faculty Admissions Committee. Before attending law school, Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Spanish from the University of Saint Mary. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her family, listening to podcasts, and watching new documentaries.
